Expectations regarding World Championship
Mladen Paradzik, head coach:
Our expectations are probably the same like in all other national selections. I think that the time of the Coubertin’s dictum that it is most important to take part, and not to win is behind us in this sport. At this moment you have a lot of great teams from all over the World that are serious and dream to win the World championships. The best thing of all, comparing to indoor handball, opponents from all continents are highly competitive. Beside our team, I expect that Brazil, Qatar, and other European countries (Spain and Russia among others) will be the most dangerous teams on this Championship.
Our personal aim is to have players after the competition, who will handle the eye contact with the rest of the team, meaning that each player gave the best from themselves during the tournament. That is the first goal, and we are sure that if the first goal will be fully accomplished, that the result will be also great.
